Carolyn Cameron has been a teacher and administrator, both at the school and district level. She has presented on numerous occasions with her school and district staff on creating learning organizations that emphasize ongoing professional learning through collaborative communities of adult learners. She is currently on secondment to Alberta Education’s Leadership Excellence Branch. Since Carolyn joined the Ministry she has been involved in the work underway to implement the Professional Practice Standards for Teachers, Leaders and Superintendents, coming into effect September, 2019. The Professional Practice Standards include competencies and indicators that require our teachers and leaders to establish inclusive learning environments.
