Relationships matter: strengthening school climate, support systems and prosocial behaviors in schools.

Strong relationships provide one of the most essential support for student learning. We are aware that the social climate of the school and classroom has a direct impact on student learning yet why is it so hard to achieve at a schoolwide level? We will explore positive and negative factors which impede our leadership efforts to build strong social climates. We will discuss strategies and supports to help implement and maintain healthy relationships within the school community.
