Yuval Harari contends that in the 21st century it will be necessary to understand biotechnology and computer algorithms, and there will be a ‘gap between those who know how to engineer bodies and brains and those who do not’ (2014, p. 273). This session explores why Harari’s contention matters for school leadership, focusing on how Artificial Intelligence and neuroscience are already part of education, and their role in education in the future.
